My friend Lainie has a great entry on her blog about Motherhood and summer vacation to which I can totally relate.

It isn’t that R & P fight a lot, it’s just that I need to have something to hold over them when they do.  They either work it out or both of them get to pick a job from the fight jar. It is full of little chores that take just a few minutes to do, but are onerous enough that they might think twice.

• weed garden
• wash windows
• water plants
• clean room
• fold laundry

What is really sad is that I have to do these chores every day.  I need a treat jar, things Mama gets to do when she’s about to explode. hmmm
