I love my print class. I can’t even begin to describe how taking this class makes me feel.  Mostly really clueless, but on better days, really excited.  This week we learned about intaglio and I love it.  We used a really simple method where we "sketched" on a sheet of mat board coated in shellac. 

Here is my plate (on the right) and a sample of the resulting print.  The sketch took less than 10 minutes, prepping the plate took about 20 minutes.    From there you can run about 4 copies before you have to re-ink the plate.
