We often laugh at P, as his motto is, "If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing NOW".  The concept of tomorrow means nothing to him.  Me?  Everything is worth putting off until tomorrow.

But every now and then I start a project and I can’t stop.  All else falls to the wayside.  On Friday I found this little gem — the July free embroidery pattern from Andrea Zuill.  I’m all about the octopi.  I had to embroider it.  Then at the craft store I found a little bag of mixed beads in teal and gold including shell chips.  It was all coming together. 

I picked a large hoop to "frame" the piece. The fabric is a linen/rayon blend (I like the body that the rayon gives the linen, especially for embroidery).  I added some mixed beads from my stash.  This is what I got done yesterday.
