Miss R and I are going to see “Twilight” this weekend. 

She tried reading the first book in the series but it wasn’t really her type of book.  R has been reading a lot of vampire books, but in Manga form and they move quite a bit more quickly than a typical novel.  Her favorite series is Chibi Vampire. 

Meanwhile, I just finished reading the second installment of the Sookie Stackhouse vampire books by Charlaine Harris.  My new favorite tv show is based on these books and although the show and the books are quite different (the show crams in a lot more than the books), they are quite similar in their “vibe” (cool, how often do you get to use that word?).  A great trashy show, and a great read.  yay.
