This is a small square quilt that I’m working on for my mom for Christmas .  I fell in love with the Michael Miller fabric that I’m using as a backing so I chose my colors based on it. I’m doing all the hand stitching now, my favorite part of quilting.

The red square at the (sort of center) of each of the log cabin squares was made on my little weave-it loom.  I’ve loved incorporating them into the quilt.  I’m definitely going to do this again.

The loom makes a 4 by 4-inch square so I cut all my quilt pieces to that size.  Now if I could find a loom that made a 5 by 5-inch square to use with all those charm packs, I’d be set.
