MaryJanesFarm magazine is all about living simply and walking softly on the earth.  The magazine has been around for a few years but only recently has it been published on a regular basis.  Prior to this the magazine was self-published as MaryJane had time. But it has always been gorgeous and very inspiring.  Lots of frugal homemaking ideas, crafts, organic (mostly vegetarian) recipes, columns about interesting women and gardening.

The Christmas issue is especially lovely and this is my very favorite idea… In fact we have a garland for the fireplace that says just that, and it makes us laugh and be ridiculous every time one of us reads it.  Oh, and a wonderful idea for a meal in a jar if you are looking for a rather sophisticated but easy present for friends, neighbors or teachers.
