I’ve been wanting to do some hand stitching since I finished my quilting a few weeks ago.  So on Friday I spotted some lovely hand-dyed wool felt, paired it with some beads from my stash and, a mushroom… sorry for the foggy picture.  I’ve got to get the lighting figured out so I can take better pictures of my tiny stitching.  Or maybe a fifth pair of glasses. 

As it was, I stitched this while watching a movie last night and went between my “progressive” lens glasses, and no glasses to get the detail right and watch most of the movie.  Derick hates it when I do this as he ends up having to go back so I can see the exciting or important scenes that I invariably miss. 

I’ve another mushroom top embroidered so will get it sewn up today.
