hmmm, not my favorite but had to do it.  I love carving and drawing wood grain and had sketched quite a few mushrooms in my little idea book.  So here it is.

I went over the wood grain with a wire brush.  I’ve been assured that this will make the wood really pop so we’ll see.  It’s missing a leaf – it got carved out by mistake.  The lines are wonky.

Yeah, even looking at it now while I write this post there are things I will fix before I ink it up.
