what? hasn’t anybody been updating this blog? you just can’t get good help these days.
speaking of… my dear husband has been on the hunt for a new vacuum for “us” for about a month now. I love it when he does this. He spends hours on the Internet, reading reviews, watching videos, shopping for the best price then asking around at work, getting opinions. Once he narrows down his search he ventures out to the store to “test drive” a model or two, usually with the kids in tow. Then he makes a decision. He does this for everything he buys.
Me, I go to the thrift store, Ace Hardware or Target (usually in that order), find something on sale and buy it.
I hate shopping for things – he loves it. I love getting practical items for gifts – he loves buying them for me. It’s one of the reasons we’re still married.
Here he is trying out our new vacuum. I made sure he tried it out on stairs, carpet, hardwood, tile, under each bed, in corners, the whole house really. Both of them work really well.
This is what I want for my birthday this year. I’ve very easy to shop for.

Ha! And Freud had to ask what it was women want! Don\’t let any men see this; we don\’t want to be understood TOO much!
