Yay. Printmaking class started this week and I feel like a whole person again. I put my woodblocks through the big press, added some backgrounds and am starting to like what I see alot more.
The ever-patient Joe at Daniel Smith had told me to set them out, and look at them for a few days, keeping track of what I liked, what I didn’t, how they made me feel, etc. Once I did that I realized that despite my disappointment in the quality of the wood that I used, I did like the design and the flow.
Baby steps.

I love these! Especially the one on the right (and I think it\’s because of the contrast in colors). And by the way, my sister-in-law is threatening to steal my sugar skull print you gave me. We can\’t have that! If you have an extra one laying around I\’ll buy it from you. Let me know!
