Thanks to everyone for your kind comments, emails and remarks about my blog. I’m glad to be back too, and am looking forward to chronicling the holidays and the New Year.

I’m leaving my family behind (with a “to-do” list eight miles long) and heading to Ocean Shores for the weekend with my friend Evelyn.  aaahhhhhhh.  Storm watching and beachcombing at the beach, knitting and reading by the woodstove, enjoying a pint or two at the Irish Pub and a little shopping.  Someone has to do it.
