Today I read about a wonderful project, to establish a women’s textile co-operative, in a rural village located on the Osa Peninsula, in the south-western corner of Costa Rica, Central America.

How amazing!  As they point out in the facts page, women’s collectives and micro-loans to women have been shown time and time again to benefit entire villages.

They have a wish list and as I read through it I realized that I have so many of the items that they need in my garage waiting for a project.  I am going to package them all up and send them along as I really can’t think of a better way to use them.
