the never-ending project

When I posted about my Hawaiian quilt block project and the finicky work involved I realized that I’d never posted any pictures of another project I’ve been working on.

A year ago or more I decided I “needed” to learn how to work peyote-stitch in the round.  I had bought an amazing book with really good directions for various bead weaving projects.  Actually I bought the book after reading an article in a beading magazine by the same author.  I loved her directions and for the first time thought I could figure this stitch out.  I was right.

However, I’ve never gotten past the first project.  I’m still working on it.   At this point it takes about two hours to stitch one row.  One bead at a time.
