getting ready for has

The Kirkland Arts Center has a lovely store called, has.  Today I took examples of my prints in hopes of having them sell my art.  I was in a bit of a mad panic because packaging things up always takes me so long – mostly because I want my labels to be nice, the paperwork to be done, etc. etc.  And of course, I leave things to the last minute.

But I had help so that’s good.

I met with Anne who runs things at has and had a great meeting.  I left my work and they’ll let me know in about a week if I’m “in” or “out” (ooo, just like Project Runway).

My friend Leslie was working so it was nice to have moral support.  Not to mention the swift boot in the rear that she gave me to set up the meeting in the first place.  Thank you, Leslie.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.
