We spent a lovely, relaxing weekend in Ocean Shores. 

The weather cooperated, the beach was lovely and because we went early it was relatively quiet.  We saw an otter in the canal, swallows swooping around, baby deer with their mamas.

The Sand and Sawdust festival was on.  It was hectic, noisy, crazy and we had fun seeing all the amazing sand creations and chainsaw carvings.  We planned ahead this time and bought P some noise reducing headphones before we went.  He doesn’t do well with loud noises and it really helped.

I really, really love it there and every time we go I am amazed at how lucky I am.
