I absolutely love the artwork of Andrea Zuill.  Her prints, her embroidery designs, all of it.  And her writing makes me laugh so I visit her blog fairly frequently.  An added bonus is that once a month she posts a free embroidery pattern.  And imagine my excitement when I saw this month’s pattern – a hilarious snail.  It was love at first sight!

So I’m stitching away and yes, it will end up as a plate for printing. I’ll add some flowers, a few half eaten leaves.  It’s going to be so fun.

Update: I worked on this last night at printmaking and again today. So pleased with the result.  I’ll prep it for printing for next week’s class.  Am very excited.
