Today is blog action day and the topic this year is water.

I’ve participated in blog action day for a couple of years now but this year I almost missed it. I’ve been down for the count with a terrible chest cold – a fever, coughing up a lung, dragging myself around the house.  I’ve had no appetite but have been craving fresh fruit and cold drinks.  How simple.

It isn’t that way for everyone.

I’d like to say something pithy and clever but, yeah, I’m working on very few brain cells today.  Five days of 102-degree temperature will do that to you.
