snow Days

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we usually have plans to be with friends at our cottage.  This year we were so undecided that even right now, the night before Thanksgiving, we’re not sure what we want to do.  I’ll chalk it up to being Canadian.  Or the fact that my husband thought for awhile he’d be out of town on business.  I think what it comes down to is being too busy.  What we really want to do is nothing – or whatever comes our way.

In the meantime, the kids have enjoyed two days of snow and cancelled school.  I’ve enjoyed an excuse not to be on the roads running errands and to stitch and keep the hot cocoa and cookies coming.

I guess the weather made our minds up for us.
