My son’s class has been studying water and salmon and all things related this year.  I had made this little salmon pin so I asked him if he’d like to give it to his teacher.  He was thrilled and excited to give it to her.

Well yesterday “the salmon lady” was in class and Parker’s teacher gave her the pin. Parker’s teacher said that this woman has just been great, coming to talk to the kids, bringing materials for them and teaching them so much about the importance of our local waterways. I am flattered that Parker’s teacher knows me well enough to know that I would totally understand her giving away the pin.  I offered to make her another but wasn’t sure I’d taken a picture. 

Aren’t I clever!?  So I’ll make another pin.  I’m excited because I like this guy too.
