This guy took forever to stitch.  I honestly think he took as long as my anger fish.  From making the pattern, fudging the pattern, making a new kind of leg, sewing individual feathers onto his wings then adjusting the tail at the last minute… everything took a long time.

I tried the legs as described in The Artful Bird and I love them, they did work out really well so I’m not complaining about that part.  If you are at all interested in making plush birds you really should get this book.

He’s done. He’s velvet and lace and satin. He’s elegant.  But mostly, he’s done!
