I’m very proud of the tags that I made recently for my art work.  I made two styles, one for stitched items and another for prints. I love the vintage feel that they have, a nice combination of the clip art that I used and the fonts.  The clip art is from Dover Publishing (no kidding).  The fonts are a combination of Underwood and Jane Austin.

I can easily change them up if need be to more fully describe the technique, particularly with the prints.  I print them out on a light brown cardstock and punch small holes for embroidery thread. Quick and easy.

I printed some on printable canvas to stitch on the back of my sea life hoops.  I’m not sure if I like this approach better than a hanging tag but it covers some of the hand stitching on the back of the piece, giving it a nice finish.
