Sometimes you don’t have to go very far for inspiration. Today I found this little guy outside on my recycling container.  He was moving pretty fast but I kept coaxing him back to pose for me.  I used this cool application to pop the colors (more than) a bit. 

He’s a stink bug. I think he’d be amazing in plush and as luck would have it, my kiwi sold today at the gallery and they’ve asked me to bring in another piece.  As much as I want to make more cow fish, I think I might work on a pattern for this guy.  I just love the shape and the colors.  Of course I’ll make him HUGE.  And there may be sequins.
