Believe it or not I have spent hours on this little doll.  I used a pattern from a Japanese craft book but decided to enlarge it and change it up.  I pieced the fabric so the legs are striped and the body is plain muslin.  Then I embroidered the little face and a heart on her chest. Then I realized I’d done it backwards so I picked out the embroidery and did it again. Then I stitched and turned and stuffed and pieced it back together.  Then made itty bitty clothes with super slippery fabric.  I should really take the arms off and restitch them.  And I should add hair which I’m quite terrible at.

She’s cute and silly.  Which would be awesome except that this is a special commission and I don’t think they wanted cute and silly.
