one more for the show…

I finished this 12-inch by 12-inch piece the other night.  I love it so much.  Sewing things this small is quite relaxing believe it or not. The single thread blanket stitches are so precise and tiny. 

This piece will join the other two at Studio 103 for their “Around the Square” show which opens next month. I actually only get to hang two pieces so I’ll leave the decision to the curators but this way they can have one as a “back up”.

I hope you can make it to the show!  The artists of Studio 103 will be choosing one participant and awarding them a show at their gallery, so be sure to ooh and aah over my work.  Also, there is a people’s choice award – just sayin’.  All of the fabulous art work is priced at $120 so this is a great opportunity to add some up and coming artists to your collection.
