I’m scrambling this week to get ready for camp. And to keep to my one per week schedule of pieces for my show in October. To say I’m a wee bit frantic is an understatement.
I’m working away at my eel. He’s turning out just as I’d hoped. I love the beads and sequins and this combination of colors. He’s 34” long and will be posed on a 24” base so I need to put a sturdy armature in him. I may add more sequins – it’s hard to know when you are done adding sequins so I always err on the side of Elvis. Hmm. That might be a good title for this one. How can I squeeze some blue suede into this piece?
