I am plugging away on my pieces for the art challenge.  I’m actually done 10 pieces so only a few days behind.  Woohoo!  Here are the Death’s Head Moth and caterpillar.  The watercolor bars on the sides show the colors of the insects in real life.  I wanted to add a shot of color and to show how beautiful these guys are.

I love my friend Cathy’s suggestion to try these as relief prints.  I’m going to play around with that, maybe on sumi and handprinting rather running them through the press for a lighter touch.
