A friend asked me about making a mama and baby manatee for her.  I found a little pattern online and thought I’d try it out before embarking on my own pattern.  This one isn’t too bad but the tail is a bit off. I do like the face though and the body shape. So I’ve some work to do in enlarging and changing up the pattern but I like the sample.

As ugly as they are, you can’t help but love manatees.
