Now that camp is finished it is time to kick start my creative juices.  How?  Still not sure but I think that for the next couple of weeks, while we are on a wee vacation along the Oregon coast, I think I’ll keep my trusty sketchbook and camera at hand.

I have to say, I’ve been pretty inspired by my garden this spring and summer.  I’m not a big gardener but somehow I’ve ended up with a pretty awesome front yard that pretty much looks after itself.  I (or my amazing lawn guy) do a little clean up in the spring and fall, but other than that, I barely even water it.  I’ve also been inspired by the bugs (spiders, butterflies and beetles) that I’ve found in my garden, so that might be a place to start.
