This month I focused on flora as my daily drawing topic and added watercolor and ink to my sketches. I can easily say that the results are my very favorite so far. I’m still too nervous to work on a larger scale so will continue with my tiny sketches.
So, a few lessons learned,
- I’m getting more and more confident in my sketching abilities’ and am loving adding watercolor.
- My friend gave me a lovely bag and I keep all my supplies in it. This way I can transport my daily drawing to wherever is convenient.
- Vacations and sunny days are making a huge difference in my mood. My head is spinning with ideas for art projects, big and small.
- I am learning how important the watercolors and sketches are to informing my work in fiber and printmaking.
