I’m determine to use fabrics as I buy them these days, particularly if they are seasonal.  I bought a little bundle of Halloween fat quarters and here are the results…

These are placemats.  A real quilter would shudder at my seams and measuring – I’m a self-taught, sew by the seat of my pants kind of quilter… measuring be damned.  R drew the pumpkin designs for her, mine and Derick’s mats and P drew his own.  I used the leftovers to make a pot holder.

I made this little pumpkin by combining a couple of patterns from a Halloween quilting book.
