The countdown to my show opening continues!
I’m popping in to the gallery today to drop off this last piece. He’s been in Ocean Shores for the summer but has returned especially for the show. I originally made him in response to a call for art along the theme “Summer Fun”. I didn’t get in, but that’s okay. I think he’s amazing and my kids have a soft spot for him.
He’s about 15-inches tall, has seed beads for teeth and is shown in a bowl filled with sand and bits of coral. He is often mistaken for a dolphin but you can tell his not by the shape of his snout and the direction of his tail. sheesh.
“afraid of the water” felt, seed beads $150
